The Nature & Raptor Center - 5200 Nature Center Rd., Pueblo, CO 81005 | (719) 549-2414 – This private, non-profit, educational, conservation and recreational facility sits at the bank of the Arkansas River and offers all sorts of year-round activities.

City Park - 800 Goodnight Ave., Pueblo, CO 81005 | (719) 566-1745 – Home to the Pueblo Zoo, City Park also has a tennis complex, swimming pool, softball fields, stocked lakes, kiddie rides, a wooden carousel, and nearly 200 acres of grass and playground area.

Pueblo Zoo - 3455 Nuckolls Ave., Pueblo, CO 81005 | (719) 561-9664 – The friendly atmosphere of the Pueblo Zoo makes it one of the area's favorite attractions. Located in City Park, it exhibits more than 350 animals from 122 species, including several endangered. The zoo's lovely gardens invite relaxing picnics. Its exceptional education programs reach students from throughout southern Colorado. The most popular new exhibit features northern river otters.

Pueblo Plaza Ice Arena - 100 N. Grand Ave., Pueblo, CO 81003 | (719) 553-2730 – One of the finest indoor skating facilities in Southern Colorado, the arena is open for skating, skating lessons, hockey, broomball and curling.

Colorado State Fair - (719) 561-8484 – Held the last week of August, the Colorado State Fair is a celebration of the people, agriculture, art, music, natural resources and industries that collectively display the culture and livelihood of Colorado. The Colorado State Fairgrounds welcomes dozens of concerts, livestock shows, carnival rides, horse shows, professional rodeo and creative art exhibits.

Beulah Mountain Park/Mountain Park Environment Center - South of Beulah on Highway 78 | (719) 485-4444 – The park provides picnic areas, a playground, ballpark, hiking trails, bridal paths and scenic drives.

River Trail System - (719) 566-1745 – The river trail stretches for thirty-five miles along the Arkansas River from Lake Pueblo to the entrance of University Park on the city's northside.

Lake Pueblo State Park - (800) 678-CAMP – The park is one of Colorado's most popular water sports areas. Fishing, boating and swimming are in great abundance.

Rock Canyon Swim Beach - 640 Pueblo Reservoir Rd., Pueblo CO 81005 | (719) 564-0065 – The Swim Beach at Lake Pueblo State Park is located below the dam area.

Pueblo Whitewater Park - Covering a half-mile stretch of the Arkansas River, the Pueblo Whitewater Park has become a popular recreational outlet for local residents and visitors. The park, which cuts through downtown Pueblo, has eight water features. All produce hydraulic action – a key ingredient for kayaking. If the man-made rapids prove too formidable for beginners, the park is a great place to simply enjoy the lovely Arkansas River and its scenery.

I-25 Speedway - Eight miles north of Pueblo on Interstate 25, Exit 108, Bragdon | (719) 545-6105 – This oversized, highly banked quarter-mile paved oval with 325-foot fast straightaways features stock car racing and other events. The I-25 Speedway is a full-service track with state-of-the-art lighting, racing fuel, Goodyear tires and paved parking with handicap access.

Pueblo Motorsports Park - (719) 547-7721 – This multipurpose facility includes a drag strip, road course, motocross track and 3/8 dirt track oval.
